Swaps and a Wedding

Well I am continuing to plug away on my swaps and on the wedding that I am working on.  I have to say that since both involve heat embossing, I am very glad that the temperature has dropped a bit.  I do  miss the air conditioning in my Tewksbury Playground!!

This is the wedding invitation that I am working on for a customer from Etsy.  It is using the Bells  and Boughs stamp set with the Holly leaf from last year’s catalog.  The holly leaf is stamped and embossed in white on cherry cobbler card stock.  It is layered onto metallic gold card stock.  The invitation itself is printed onto meta

llic white card stock and layered onto another layer of metallic gold.  I then stamped a holly leaf on a scrap of card stock, colored it with ink and then cut it out.  I colored some pearl jewels red with a sharpie and added those to the center of the holly leaf in place of the berries.

I used the retired heart border punch to create a little border along the top of the invite.  I added some of the velvet ribbon that we had in last year’s holiday catalog.

The gold leaves are embossed on vellum card stock using gold ink and embossing powder.  These are going on my WOW swap for convention.  The gold leaf is one of the new stamps in the upcoming Fall/Holiday catalog.

So this is what my table looks like this afternoon with all of the embossing that I am doing.  Stay tuned for a peak at the WOW card that I am making for one of my convention swaps!!

Thanks for checking things out!
