Today I have a Valentine’s card
that I made for this week’s Global Design Project.
This card uses Stampin’ Up!’s Sending Love Designer paper stack
and the Sealed with Love Stamp set
and coordinating thinlits from the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog.
This is a quick and simple card made from the following sketch.
It only requires a couple of ingredients: Real Red Ink, Real Red cardstock, Whisper White cardstock
and the Sending Love DSP
and coordinating Sealed with Stamp set
from the Occasions catalog.
So the details on this card:
The card base is Real Red cardstock
cut the long way at 4 1/4″ x 11 and scored at 5 1/2. Next is a layer of whisper white cardstock cut to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. The third layer is a piece of Sending Love Designer Series Paper
cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″.
The band on this card is a second pattern of the Sending Love DSP
cut to 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″. I like the modern images of this DSP and I especially love the fact that Stampin’ Up! Designer papers
always coordinate with the cardstocks. It makes it so easy to craft. You always know that the colors listed on the DSP will coordinate with the rest of your project!
I stamped the sentiment “Love – Note” with Real Red ink
on a 3/4″ x 3″ piece of Whisper White cardstock
. I cut the end to look like a tail. and added a few rhinestone jewels
to the end of the tail.
Next I stamped the String of hearts with real red ink on whisper white cardstock a
nd cut out the strings of hearts using the matching thinlit dies!
Last I added a layer of Whisper White cardstock
cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ to the inside of the card. I stamped “Happy Valentine’s Day” with a string of hearts along the bottom. A quick and simple card!
Stay tuned – next I have taken this card and made a masculine version!

This card is a 4 1/4″ square with a base cut from Whisper White card stock
. The second layer is a 4×4″ piece of Red Foil
and the top layer is a 3 3/4″ square of Whisper White cardstock
cut with the Detailed Santa Thinlits.

Today I have a handmade card made with the Vintage Leaves
stamp set from Stampin’ Up!
to share. What a great quick and simple card that says Fall. Perfect for a birthday or thank you. This was one of the cards that I made with members of my Stamper’s Club for the month of October. Our technique for the month was learning how to make a shaker card. Wouldn’t you love to have projects and a technique directly in your inbox each month? Consider joining my Stamper’s Club!
So the details on this card:
Stamp set: Vintage Leaves
with matching framelits
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Whisper WhiteInks:
Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow and Garden Green
Each of the leaves is stamped on
cardstock with a mix of inks that represent fall colors.. They are then cut out using the matching framelit set. Did you know that these Leaflets framelit dies match this Vintage Leaves
stamp set (in the big book) and the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set
from the Holiday Catalog (pg. 44 139712). So whether you have a taste for vintage style leaves or whisical style leaves, these framelits will work for you!
Once I have punched out the leaves, I have used a couple of glue dots to make a bundle with the leaves. I have added a piece of Gold Sequin trim
and finished it off with a small piece of Early Espresso Seam binding.
so for the card base to attach these beautiful leaves to… The card base is a piece of very vanilla
cardstock cut in half at 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″ to make the card. I embossed the front of the card with the Brick Wall embossing folder.
Then used the Decorative Label punch
to make a window in the bottom right of the card. I stamped a “Thanks so Much” from the BYOP stamp set
which is a great greeting set! I then added a stray leaf to the top of the window with a dimensional.
That's it. A quick and simple Fall Vintage Leaves card! Interested in having paper crafting projects delivered directly to your inbox each month? Check out my Stamper's Club Here.

So the details for this Card:
Cardstock: Hello Honey, Whisper white and the Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper
from the Sale-a-bration catalog.
The THANKS image is stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black
ink on whisper white cardstock. I used the Blendablities markers
to color in the image and added a small scrap of the Best Year Ever DSP to the edge of the white piece and rounded the corners with a corner rounder punch.
To finish off this quick and easy card, I used two buttons from the SAB Accessories pack with a piece of white bakers twine threaded thru the button holes.
That’s it!! Quick and Easy!!

Well things are starting to slow down a little for me, if that can ever happen with my life! LOL. My son is off to his new adventures in Colorado starting his new job this week. We will miss him but am so excited that he gets to start this new chapter in life!
So I am down on Cape Cod for the summer (minus a couple of trips back to Tewksbury here and there). But that doesn’t mean that I am taking the summer off! I am soooooo looking forward to going to convention with my stampin’ friends in 3 weeks! Which means that I better get working on swaps!
Today I jumped back into Mary Jo’s blog and the Technostamper challenge.
I used the new designer paper Gingham Garden and the Flower Shop stamp set with the coordinating punch!
I love the bright colors of this paper and the great patterns. Rather than using a ribbon across the middle of the designer paper, I used some of the new washi tape that coordinates with the paper.
The background flowers are stamped in daffodil ink. the main flower is stamped with melon mambo ink and popped out with dimensionals. Of course I had to add a little something to the center of the flower, so added a rhinestone pearl. I wish I had the large pearls with me, but alas I don’t. I can’t bring everything to my temporary stampin’ studio!
The Hello Sweet Friend is from the new Six Sided Sampler Set and I used the hexagon punch to punch out the image.
Stay tuned, my next Card Kit is going to be using the Flower Shop stamp set with the coordinating punch!
This week’s order code is ZTX476TP. Enter this code at the bottom of the order screen in the hostess code section!
Enjoy your day!
This week I made a slew of these cards for my kids to use as thank you notes for their graduation gifts…
The best thing about this card is that it is a great way to use up left over pieces of designer paper!! I used the Oh Hello set (c 130733) and oval collection framelits (129381) with basic Whisper White card stock (100730). I cut the oval with the framelits and my new Magnetic Platform on my Big Shot!!
I have to say that the Magnetic platform (130658) is my favorite new toy!! The framelits DO NOT move!!
I stamped the arrow from the Oh Hello set in Bermuda Bay and then the Thanks so Much in Island Indigo over the arrow. I sponged the side of the oval with the bermuda bay to add a little depth to the oval. Then I layered the oval onto the card with dimensionals!
Everyone’s favorite tool – you should all have dimensionals in your stash!!
And an update on my family! Graduations are over and tennis season is over as well! John starts his new job on Monday with Dresser-Rand as a project engineer. So we have been busy packing up things and getting ready to have movers take the furniture that he wants to Colorado. A great way for me to clean out some our old things!!
Tennis season ended on a very positive note for Emily! She hurt her knee this year and couldn’t finish the season playing singles which is her favorite position. But she and her doubles partner won the only game in their final match at the State tournament!! So a great way to end the year! And she received the sportsmanship award for all of the work that she did for the team when she was benched due to her injury!
That’s about it for now! I am looking forward to spending some time playing with my new stamps and designer papers!
