Thinlit Die Christmas card

Another card from my  Cards that Move series using the Circle thinlit Die.  This is a Christmas card that is made with the Season of Style Designer paper and the Ornament Keepsakes set which is still available. 100_9829_e1This card is actually a CASE (copy and steal everything) from one of my downlines, Michele Lacerda.  Michele is one of  several really great card designers in my downline.  i have a very talented downline and we have a great time when we all get together! In fact, our weekend retreat is coming up.  Want to join us on Cape Cod for a Girls’ weekend on October 26th?  Join my group! We meet monthly to share ideas and stamp.   I have the best team!   I have been a STampin’ Up! Demonstrator for 12 years (next week) and I am always learning something new from one of my team members.  You can watch a short video about becoming a Stampin’ Up! Dmonstrator here. So back to this card.  I used the diagonal stripe from the Season of Style designer paper in the Holiday catalog with accents using Cherry Cobbler card stock.  The ornament is stamped with Old Olive ink. and cut out using the coordinating Ornament keepsakes framelits.  Don’t forget to stamp two ornaments.  One for each side of the circle. And I really think the bling with the Champaign Glitter paper makes this card. Check out my Cards that Move Class on October 2nd at 7pm.  Cards that Move 2 is on October 22nd at 7pm.  You can Register here:

Stampin’ Up! Convention Day 1

Hello from Sunny Salt Lake City Utah! a Beautiful day here yesterday and today. Yesterday daytime was some free time before convention began so several of us spent some time assembling swaps. I don’t know why I just can’t get things done until the last minute! After we finished swaps yesterday a couple of us took a nice site seeing walk around Salt Lake. The architecture on some of the old buildings here is spectacular! And – the mountains are beautiful! Salt Lake city is on a flat area in between several sets of mountains. So matter which way you turn, you see mountains along the edge of the city. 100_9484Today started with a trip out to the office in Riverton. This is the place where all of your orders are processed. This building was built about 6 to 7 years ago and is beautiful inside.   100_9473       This is a picture of the entrance with all the banners displayed in the lobby. This lobby looks down onto a beautiful waterfall with an open area and tables for employees. what a fantastic lunch room!   100_9474 Here is a picture of me and my team in front of the building in front of the infamous SU rock! From left to right: Margaret Galvez, Nancy Flanagan, me – yours truly, Kate Morin, Lisa Fuller & Jeanne Neilsen.     100_9491         I will try to post more as convention goes on! It is very busy!

Another Chalk Talk sample

Here is another 100_9370 card that I made with the Chalk Talk stamp set.  Don’t forget that this stamp set and the framelits can be bundled together for a discount!! The cardstock on this card is Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party with a layer of the AFternoon Picnic designer paper.  I do love this combination of subtle colors!   The tag is stamped with White Craft ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  I then stamped the tag again using wisteria wonder ink on whisper white card stock and cut out just the center tag. This tag is cut out with the framelits dies and layered onto a piece of Wisteria Wonder chevron ribbon. I added a few pearl jewels to the corners to add a little bling to the card. Enjoy! signature line-red
