I just love challenges! This week’s latenight stamper challenge was to use a scrapbook page as inspiration for a card.
This is a scrapbook page that I made using MDS as part of a book I printed last year for our trip to Bermuda.
Using the layout of the 3 cropped pictures, I cut 3 pieces of designer paper and layered them on white card stock to achieve the same effect as the pictures.
I used Calypso Coral cardstock for the card base and Internatio
nal Bazar Designer paper for the layers of the card. I love the bring colors of this designer paper! The stamp set is one of the new stamp sets that will be out in the new catalog in June!!
Mosaic Madness – I can see that this is going to one of my new favorite sets from the new catalog! There is a matching punch to punch our the mosaic shape.
I added pearls to the center of the mosaic shapes and used the lace tape from the Spring mini for the trim on the bottom. I added a small pearl to the center of each lace flower.
Not a typical card for me but I like it.
Sometimes you have to do something a little out o the box!!
