One Sheet Wonder technique

Good Morning!  Well I hope that everyone is staying dry and warm on this rainy April Friday.

Tonight is Bring Your Own Project Night which I host monthly in my Creative Playground.

For those of you that don’t have a project to work on, I have put together a card kit using the Stamp Set Mixed Bunch (my favorite floral set from the main catalog) and the in-colors.   Yesterday I posted a couple of cards that I had designed using Mixed Bunch and the One Sheet Wonder technique.

I used Mary Jo’s sketch challenge to make the Third card.

Here is Mary Jo’s sketch.

the One Sheet Wonder technique is a fun way to make your designer paper.  A great technique for backgrounds on cards or scrapbook pages.

To make this technique, select a stamp set and your desired colors of ink.  I used Summer Starfruit, Daffodi Delight, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeaid and Indigo Island.  You randomly stamp a sheet of cardstock with the images.  Your sheet will start to look like a sheet of wallpaper.

You then use your sheet of stamped cardstock as you would a piece of designer paper.

I added a couple of rhinestone crystals to the petals and center of the flower.  the ribbon is the daffodil delight stitched grosgrain ribbon.

I hope to see you tonight at Bring Your Own Project Night!
