This 3D Christmas Tree made with Stampin’ Up!’s designer paper and Dazzling Details glitter is absolutely beautiful in person. I have had so many compliments on this tree over the past two years since my friend Karyn created it!
The Story behind this Tree. 2 years ago the Simply Scored Scoring Tool came out and my friend Karyn immediately purchased one. And she went to town. The next week, when I saw her, she had created this beautiful tree! Then last year – Stampin’ Up! introduced the Rosette Die for the Big Shot. The die made this project much easier and quicker!!
So this year – after many requests I am offering the directions for this 3D Tree with full detailed directions and a technique video.
There is a small and large version of the tree. It is made by cutting strips of designer paper and using the Rosette Sizzix die to score the strips. You then accordion fold the strips and make lollies for the layers of the tree.
I am also offering this Tree in Kit form with a full set of directions with pre-cut and scored designer paper with a bottle of dazzling details for embellishment. Everything has been pre-cut and scored for you so all you need is a glue gun to assemble the tree.
Two Cool! I flipped over all of my paper strips for the second card to change up the look.
