Today I am going back and re-visiting a handcard that I made last year using the Swallowtail stamp set. It was actually a CASE (copy and steal everything) from my upline Connie Branius. The Details for this card:
The card stocks are Midnight Muse, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White.
The white piece of card stock is stamped with the en Francis set in Daffodil Delight ink. The edge of this piece is sponged with Midnight Muse ink. The Swallowtail butterfly is stamped with Midnight Muse Ink over the en Francis stamp. This is layered onto a piece of Daffodil Delight
card stock and then a piece of Midnight Muse for the card base.
Stamp two additional swallowtails on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Carefully cut around the butterfly and attach to the card with dimensionals over the butterfly already stamped on the white. Cut the second Butterfly along the inside lines so you are cutting out the inside portion of the butterfly. Attach to the first butterfly with dimensionals.
Use a paint brush to brush some Dazzling Details over the butterfly to add a little glitz to the card. I painted the edges of the wings and the inside colored areas of the wings.
