Another Goodbye to Medallion

Today I am showing you a card that I made with the Medallion stamp set from Stampin’ Up!.  This card was for my monthly Stamper’s Club.  They requested vintage scrapbook pages and cards for April’s class.

So the details on this card:

The card base is Crumb Cake card stock.  The first layer on this card is a piece of very vanilla card stock that has been stamped with the Medallion stamp in Primerose Petals which is one of the retiring In-colors.  This layer is then embossed with the Baroque Embossing folder.

At the bottom of this layer is a 1 1/2″ strip of newsprint designer paper.  This piece is layered with a piece of Crumb Cake card stock which has been punched with the Scallop Trim Border punch.  This punch is also retiring.  I will definitely miss this punch!

The card is finished up with a piece of vanilla seam binding tied into a bow and adhered with a vintage brad.  And of course, you can’t forget the bling on a vintage card – I added a large Pearl Jewel to the center of the Medallion and small Pearl Jewels between the scallops on the border.
