Handmade Floral Card

Today I have a beautiful handmade floral card made with the new stamp set Forever Florals and the Gold Soriee Designer Paper.

The inspiration for this card was today’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge.  I also used the new Blendability markers that will be available for order tomorrow!!  Yay!!

This is a long and tall card.  I folded a sheet of crisp Cantaloupe card stock in half the long way at 4 1/4″.  The floral stripe is from the Gold Soiree DSP and is cut to 2″ x 8 1/2″.  It is layered on a piece of Garden Green Cardstock.

DSCN0309cuthe Lupins in the backgrounds are stamped with Momento ink (which is required for Blendability markers).  I colored them with the Daffodil Delight Blendability set.

The smaller flower (dahlia?) is colored with the pumpkin blend ability set.  The larger circle is cut from Calypso Coral card stock and stamped with Calypso Coral ink.  The smaller circle is cut from Pistachio Pudding card stock and stamped with Pistachio ink.

DSCN0308bowLast but not least I finished off the card with a bow made from the Daffodil Delight seam binding.    I added a “for you” greeting below on the botMojo352Sketchtom left cut from a scrap of pistachio pudding card stock and added a couple of rhinestone jewels for a little bling.

Here is the sketch from today’s Mojo Monday challenge.

Enjoy!!
