Today I am playing with my new Flower Patch Stamp set to make a handmade Floral Card. I used a lot of my new products on this card.
Today’s card is inspired by the sketch challenge for MojoMonday. So the Details:
The Stamp set is Flower Patch
The Card base is the new yellow color; Hello Honey with a layer of Lost Lagoon as the front layer. The designer pap
er is the new DSP stack All Abloom.
The MojoMonday sketch for today includes a Circle behind the stamped image. When looking for my circle framelits in my box, I found the Floral Framelits and thought this is the same general shape and would be a little different for the background. I used a piece of All Abloom DSP with the medium floral frame lit and Blushing Bride for the smaller flower shape.
The flowers are stamped using Daffodil Delight, Strawberry Slush and Mossy Meadow inks. I used the coordinating Flower Patch framelits to cut out the layers for the flowers. For the final detail, I used the new Hello Honey ribbon and Rhinestone Jewels for the center of the flowers.
This would be a perfect birthday card for my mother the Master Gardener. I see myself using this new Stamp Set with coordinating framelits a lot in the future. Don’t forget that these framelits come in a bundle with the Stamp set (pg. 156 in the new catalog, item #136788).
