Today’s handmade Holiday card is made using some of the new products from the Stampin’ up! Holiday catalog. And this card is actually made without stamps!!
The Trees are actually cut using the tree die from the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies. I was playing around with the this die and realized that there was a tree template included.
The inspiration for this card layout comes from this week’s technostamper challenge.
Here are the details for this card:
Cardstocks:
- Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack
- Whisper White Cardstock
- Cherry Cobbler
- Pistashio Pudding Cardstock
- Garden Green Cardstock
I used a piece of the winter cherry pattern from the Trim the Tree Designer paper stack for the card background. The ribbon is a piece of white cotton ribbon. Next the pistachio pudding layer is 4 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ and embossed with the Northern Frost Embossing folder. The embossed snowflakes are brushed with the white craft ink pad to highlight them. These are layered onto a piece of 4 3/8″ x 2 5/8″ piece of garden green cardstock.
The trees are cut using the Tree die from the Snowlakes Card Thinlits. I choose 3 different patterns of green designs from the Trim the Tree Designer Paper stack. These are layered on the card with dimensionals to give the card depth.
And of course every card needs some bling! So I punched out a star from the gold glitter paper using the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. I then randomly added Rhinestone jewels to the trees to look like ornaments.
Enjoy and have a great weekend!
I love this. Love the trees with just the dies and dsp. Very pretty. The baby pearls are a wonderful finishing touch. Great job, thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!
