Today’s card is made with the Stampin’ Up! Wonderous Wreath Stamp set using Lost Lagoon, Soft Sky, Pear Pizazz and Silver inks. I love the combination of blues and silver and have had this idea floating around in my head for a while. Today’s card layout is inspired by the Mojomonday challenge for this week.
Here are the details for this card:
This is a long and tall card so the Whisper White Cardstock is cut to 9″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. to make a 9″ x 4 1/4″ card. The next layer is pear pizazz cut to 4 1/8″ x 8 7/8″. The next layer is a piece of All is Calm designer paper cut to 4″ x 8 3/4″.
The next layer is a piece of silver foil cut to 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. A piece of the silver All is Calm designer paper is cut to 2 3/8″ x 5 3/8″.
The Wreath is a 3 part stamp. The first layer of leaves is stamped with Soft Sky ink and random leaves colored with a pear pizazz marker. The next layer of highlighted leaves are stamped with lost lagoon ink. The berries are stamped with silver ink and embossed with silver embossing powder.
The wreath is cut out using the matching wonderous wreath framelits. A bow cut from the Silver Glimmer paper is added to the wreath. This is layered on a 2 3/4″ square of whisper white layered onto Lost Lagoon.
The diagonal stripe is a piece of silver foil that has been embossed with the Stylish Stripes embossing foler. Last but not least is the NOEL cut from a piece of silver glimmer paper and is attached to the bottom of the card.
