I love this Holiday card that one of my Stampin’ Friends create with the Holiday HOme and White Christmas Stamp sets! My two favorite Holiday stamp sets from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog.
Judy used the Zindorf Brayering technique to color the background on this card. She made a mask using a circle punch with a post-it note and then brayered over the post it with Island Indigo ink to create the background sky.
Stamping Tip: To make the house pop and look like it is front and center as Judy did; stamp the house first (after brayering the background) and then stamp the image again on a post-it not and mask the house image. Then stamp the trees around the house. Once you lift the mask – the trees will be “behind” the house and the house will be front and center.
I also like the way that Judy lightly colored the house windows with a light yellow shadow to show light.
A Beautiful Card!
