Quick and Simple Christmas Card – Sneak Peak

Today I have a sneak peak of one of the new Holiday Embellished Ornamentsstamp sets from Stampin’ Up! called Embellished Ornaments.  This new set comes with matching framelits, Delicate Ornaments, to cut out your ornaments and there are some beautiful details to these ornaments!  This Quick and Simple card is inspired by this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge!

So I have been in Buffalo, NY visiting family and friends as well as attending a reunion of my High School Drama Club for the past week.  What a great event!  It was so much fun to catch up with old friends, some of whom I have not seen in 30-35 years!  The best thing about this reunion is that it was people from multiple years, so not just people from my class!.

Sunday I made the trek across NY State on I90 which can be a long drive.  For some reason I90 in Massachusetts, affecChristmas pre-ordertionately knows as the Mass Pike, gets very backed up on Sundays.  So the drive was 10 hours and 525 miles…  I am still recovering!  But this was waiting for me when I got home – My last order and Christmas Pre-order!   Yay!

Now, onto the details for this card:
The card base is Mossy Meadow which is embossed with the Boho Chic embossing folder.
Next is a strip of gold glimmer paper which has been cut to make a banner.

The larger circle is cut from Real Red Cardstock using the Circles framelits.  Just nest two Circle framelits to make the thin circle.  The Designer paper is the Home fmojo-2cuor the Holidays Designer paper which will be in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog, available in September.

I love the detail of these new framelits.  The ornament is cut from a piece of Gold Foil.  I added a few Rhinestone Jewels to the ornament.  Last but not least, a piece of gold Baker’s Twine is threaded through the top of the ornament.

I can’t wait to share more items with you from the New Holiday Catalog!
