Today I wanted to share this Christmas card that I made with the new Stampin’ Up! Sleigh Ride Edgelits. This card was inspired by an older card that I found on Pinterest from Stampin’ with Irina’s blog. So I remade it with the new Edgelits…
So here are the details for this card…
The card base is Very Vanilla cardstock. The background is a piece of Soft Sky cardstock. I used a 1 3/8″ circle punch to make the circle for the moon. The soft sky piece is embossed with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
The layers are cut using the Sleigh Ride Edgelits from Silver Glimmer paper and Dazzling Diamonds and layered on top of the soft sky. The bottom layer is wrapped with a vanilla satin ribbon. The message Silent Night is stamped with white ink and embossed on a piece of soft sky cardstock. This stamp is from the Jingle all the Way stamp set.
So after I made this card, I had to try making it again using the Silver Foil paper rather than the Silver Glimmer paper. And I stamped the snow flurries from the Jingle All the Way stamp set rather than embossing the soft sky piece.
These are the items that are used to make these cards.
So which Sleigh Ride card do you like better?
