Today I am sharing a Christmas Card that I made with the Stampin’ Up! stamp set Hang Your Stocking from the new Holiday catalog! 
I have to say that I love this catalog and so many of the sets within it that I had a really hard time deciding what to buy this fall!
Today’s card is inspired by this week’s Global Design Team challenge which is a case the designer. I choose to use the same layout that Teneale used.
Here are the details for this card:
Cardstock base: Real Red CS cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
The next layer is Crumb Cake cut to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. I choose Crumb Cake to go with the pattern on the Warmth & Cheer Designer Paper that I choose. I used a 2″ x 3 7/8″ piece of the plaid pattern with a 2 1/4″ x 3 7/8″ piece of Whisper white CS embossed with the Cable Knit embossing folder. NOTE: This folder is very thick to give a detailed impression. So you need to adjust your platform accordingly. I found that I only needed one plate with this embossing folder.
These two pieces were layered onto the Crumb Cake layer and I added a piece of Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape to cover the seams between the two layers.
Onto the Stamping: The Stockings are stamped with Garden Green ink and Real Red ink and then cut out using the coordinating thinlits. “Merry Christmas” is also stamped with Garden Green ink and cu
t using the Layering Ovals Framelits and layered onto a scrap of Garden Green cardstock also cut using the Oval framelits. The stockings were layered and attached with glue dots. The “Merry Chistmas” is attached with stampin’ dimensionals. Last but not least is a piece of Whisper White Thick Basker’s Twine.
