Seasonal Bells Handmade Card

Today I am sharing a card that I made for the Holiday seasonal bellsseason using the Seasonal Bells stamp set from Stampin’ Up!.  This card was inspired by this week’s Global Design challenge sketch.  Here are the details for this card.

The card base is Real Red cardstock cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″.  Next is a layer of Emerald Envy cardstock cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and then a piece of the Presents and Pinecone Designer Paper cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″.

I wanted to try out the new Stitched Framelits.  So the center white piece is cut using the square framelit and layered onto a piece of Real Red Cardstock.

Next I stamped two bells on Whisper White with Silver ink and embossed them with Silver Embossing Powder.  These were cut out with the coordinating Bell Punch.  Next I punched a hole in the top of the bells and tied them together with a piece of narrow Silver Ribbon. Next I stamped the banner with the Happy Christmas stamp in Emerald Envy ink from the Seasonal Bells stamp set and cut this with the coordinating Banner Framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits.

And last but not least is the bling!  I adorned the bells with Rhinestone jewels.  I also added a couple of rhinestone jewels to the bottom of the middle section of the card.

Here are the supplies that I used to make this card:

  1. Love the way you’ve handled the background and extended the Stitched Shapes Framelit. The colorful Designer Series Paper also adds so much. Thanks for sharing with Global Design Project.
