The card base is Real Red cardstock cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. Next is a layer of Emerald Envy cardstock cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and then a piece of the Presents and Pinecone Designer Paper cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″.
I wanted to try out the new Stitched Framelits. So the center white piece is cut using the square framelit and layered onto a piece of Real Red Cardstock.
Marilyn’s Tip: you can use the square framelit to cut a rectangle. Line the framelit up on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and roll it half way thru the Big Shot. Don’t roll it thru the whole way or you will have a square. Roll the plate with cardstock and framelit backwards and then move the framelit down. Line up the top of the framelit down the piece that has been cut part way. You can feel the stitches on the edge of the framelit line up. Put the sandwich back into your Big Shot and roll in the opposite direction part way. When you pull out your piece you will have a cut and stitched rectangle!
Next I stamped two bells on Whisper White with Silver ink and embossed them with Silver Embossing Powder. These were cut out with the coordinating Bell Punch. Next I punched a hole in the top of the bells and tied them together with a piece of narrow Silver Ribbon. Next I stamped the banner with the Happy Christmas stamp in Emerald Envy ink from the Seasonal Bells stamp set and cut this with the coordinating Banner Framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits.
And last but not least is the bling! I adorned the bells with Rhinestone jewels. I also added a couple of rhinestone jewels to the bottom of the middle section of the card.
Here are the supplies that I used to make this card:
