Today I am sharing a handmade Christmas card made with the Seasonal Bells and Christmas Pines stamp sets from
Stampin’ up!. Today’s share is inspired by this week’s Global Design Challenge which is a sketch challenge.
This is a quick and easy handmade Christmas card made with Mint Macaron cardstock. both the card base and the top layer are cut from Mint Macaron cardstock.
The pine boughs are stamped with White Craft ink and embossed with White embossing powder. The star background is stamped with Mint Macaron ink in the background. Next “Tis the Season” message is stamped with Emerald Envy ink and cut out using a tag die from the Project LIfe Framelits set. Next the Bells are stamped using Real Red ink on Whisper White Cardstock and punched out with the coordinating Bell punch. I used the 1/8″ handheld circle punch to punch a hole in the top of each of the bells. Next a piece of Real Red Baker’s Twine to tie a bow thru the two bells. My tip for this card is to thread the Emerald Envy Baker’s Twine thru the Real Red Baker’s Twine when you tie the knot on the bells. Then wrap a longer piece of Emerald Envy Baker’s Twine around the top layer of the card 3 times. Attach on the back with adhesive. Attach the card front to the Mint Macaron card base. with dimensionals.
Last but not least I embellished the bells with small rhinestone jewels. a Glue Dot helps to hold the bells in place. Last is highlighting the pattern on the bells with the Clear Wink of Stella pen. This adds a nice shimmer to the detail of the bells!
Here are the products that were used to create this card.
