Today I have a Valentine’s card that I made for this week’s Global Design Project. This card uses Stampin’ Up!’s Sending Love Designer paper stack and the Sealed with Love Stamp set and coordinating thinlits from the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog.
This is a quick and simple card made from the following sketch. It only requires a couple of ingredients: Real Red Ink, Real Red cardstock, Whisper White cardstock and the Sending Love DSP and coordinating Sealed with Stamp set from the Occasions catalog.
So the details on this card:
The card base is Real Red cardstock cut the long way at 4 1/4″ x 11 and scored at 5 1/2. Next is a layer of whisper white cardstock cut to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. The third layer is a piece of Sending Love Designer Series Paper cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″.
The band on this card is a second pattern of the Sending Love DSP cut to 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″. I like the modern images of this DSP and I especially love the fact that Stampin’ Up! Designer papers always coordinate with the cardstocks. It makes it so easy to craft. You always know that the colors listed on the DSP will coordinate with the rest of your project!
I stamped the sentiment “Love – Note” with Real Red ink on a 3/4″ x 3″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. I cut the end to look like a tail. and added a few rhinestone jewels to the end of the tail.
Next I stamped the String of hearts with real red ink on whisper white cardstock and cut out the strings of hearts using the matching thinlit dies! 
Last I added a layer of Whisper White cardstock cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ to the inside of the card. I stamped “Happy Valentine’s Day” with a string of hearts along the bottom. A quick and simple card!
