Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! Today I am sharing on oldie but goodie that I made a few years ago with the TotallyTess stamp set from Stampin’ Up!. The message “Happy St. Patrick’s Day” is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.
Since I live in Boston i will pass on a little Boston history! When I first moved to Boston in 1991 (yes, 26 years ago) I was in awe of the history and all of the historical sites that I was seeing every day! I was working in Charlestown in the Navy Yard and saw the ship the Constitution every day. I was driving by Bunker Hill every day. I learned that I love to learn about the history of our country and the areas of Boston.
My biggest shock was when I found that St. Patrick’s Day is a State Holiday! Not because it is St. Patrick’s Day but because it is evacuation Day. Do you know what Evacuation day is? If you live in Massachusetts, you know..
It is the day that the British evacuated Boston following the end of the Revolutionary War!
