Today I am sharing another card made with the new Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas stamp set. This set will be in the upcoming Stampin ‘ Up! Holiday Catalog but is available to order early – this month!
I love this set!! It is so versatile and has a large variety of framelits to cut out a lot of Holiday images!
So the details on this card. The card base is a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock scored at 4 1/4″ and folded in half to make the card base. The next layer is a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Cucumber Crush cardstock. Then a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. The corner framelits with the poinsettias is used on the 4 corners.
Next Stamp 4 Poinsettias with Cherry Cobbler ink and cut them out. You can line them up the the larger poinsettia in the middle of the die or cut them out by hand. These are layered on top of the center corner poinsettia. And of course I added Rhinestone Jewels to add a little bling to the poinsettias! Every card needs a little bling.
Last Stamp the sentiment “Deck the Halls” with Cherry Cobbler ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Cut this piece out with the large scalloped oval from Stampin’ Up!’s Layering Ovals framelits. Cut a second larger oval from the Cucumber Crush cardstock. Attach the sentiment to the card with dimensionals. Stamp a Holly leaf using Cucumber Crush ink for the leaves and Cherry Cobbler ink for the berries. Cut out with the Holly die. Attach next to the sentiment with a glue dot!
