Christmas in July – Under the Mistletoe Card

For the past few days, I have been playing with the new Under the Mistletoe Designer paper from the new  Stampin’
Under the Mistletoe CardUp! catalog.   I have designed a few Christmas cards with this paper using a new stamp set; Color Your Season –  that Stampin’ Up is releasing on August 1st and a couple of the Holiday sets that are in the current catalog.

Here are the details on this card made with the upcoming Color Your season stamp set.

The Color Your Season stamp set has an image for each of the Four Seasons and some pretty thinlits that have a stitched edge.  I can’t wait to show off this stamp set and let you play with it.  It will be available for order on August 1st!

Here are the details on this card:

The card base is Old Olive cardstock cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″.  Next is a layer of Real Red cardstock cut to 5 1/8″ x 3  7/8″.  Then a piece of the Under the Mistletoe DSP cut to 5″ x 3 3/4″.  I then used the new layering thinlits with the stitched edge to cut a mat from Old Olive Cardstock and from Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped “Merry Christmas” in red.

The Color Your Season stamp set has the Christmas sentiment – Merry Christmas, a Christmas Bell and a swag of Mistletoe.  I stamped the Mistletoe swag with Black ink and colored the mistletoe with my Stampin’ Blends markers.  I then cut out the mistletoe swag and added it above the sentiment in the center of the card.  This set also has a pretty ribbon die.  I added a ribbon cut from Silver foil below the sentiment.

Next Wednesday is July 25th – so six months from Christmas so I am holding my Christmas in July class on Wednesday the 25th featuring the new Under the Mistletoe DSP and the upcoming  Color Your Season stamp set which will be available on August 1st.  I will also have some cards made with other Christmas Sets that have carried forward such as Star of Light,Hearts Come Home, and Stylish Christmas stamp sets.

Stay tuned – I will be offering an online class using the
Under the Mistletoe DSP soon!

Happy Stamping!
