Animal Outing Handmade Card

Animal Outing Handmade cardToday I am sharing a card that one of my friends made using the Stampin’ Up! Animal Outing stamp set.  This Animal Outing handmade card would be perfect for a kid’s birthday!

The card base is Tranquil Tide CS cut to 8  1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at
4 1/4″.  The background is a layer of the the Tropical Escape Designer series paper.  This Tropical designed paper is a perfect paper pattern to use for an animal set.

The giraffes are stamped with Early Espresso ink on Crushed Curry CS and cutout with the coordinating Animal Friends thinlits. The flower is stamped with the orchid from the Tropical Chic stamp set.

The circle and scalloped circle in the center of the card are cut out of the Layering Circles framelits.  Whisper White and Tranquil Tide cardstocks were used for the circles.

Lastly the “Happy Birthday” message is stamped on a tag cut from the Stitched Labels Framelits.  This is a perfect Framelit set that everyone should have in their collection.

The Stitched Labels framelit collection cuts several different shapes for labels with a pretty stitching pattern around the edge.   There is also a stitched background which would be perfect for making a textured background for a card.  And a long Stitched framelit to cut a stitched edge to a card.  No more using a template and stylus to make a stitched edge on a card!

I hope you have enjoyed this card.  Thank you to my friend JoJo for sharing it with me!!

Happy Stamping!
