Handmade Holiday card

I'll Be Home Holiday Card

Today I am sharing a Handmade Holiday card that I made using the Stampin’ Up! I’ll be Home stamp set.

I love the beautiful house in this stamp set and actually felt guilty cutting it into a circle for this card.  But I really like the layout of this card and the combination of the colors of the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper.

So for this card I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″ for the card base.  The next layer is a piece of the Gray Granite cardstock cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″.  The third layer is a piece of the white & gray plaid from the Festive Farmhouse Designer paper cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″.  Then a 3 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ piece of the Red plaid design is layered over this.

I stamped the house with Basic Gray ink on a piece of whisper white cardstock and colored the house with the Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I added a touch of Wink of Stella glitz to the wreaths and the bows over the wi

ndows of the house.

I cut out the house image with a large Circle framelit from the Layering Circle framelit collection.  I then cut out a little larger circle from a piece of gray granite cardstock.  These were layered onto a scalloped circle cut from Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

I love decorating the inside of the card too.  I used a piece of the Farmhouse Designer paper along the inside bottom of the card.

I used a piece of the Merlot and Tranquil Tide Glimmer paper from the Holiday catalog to cut out the Happy Holidays using the Merry Christmas Thinlits dies.

These are the products that I used today.
