I love the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods stamp set so thought that I would make a nice Winter Woods Thank you card to use for Winter events. Perfect for writing thank you cards for your Holiday gifts. And I just read that January is National Thank You Card Month!
So the details on this card:
The card base is Night of Navy Cardstock cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″.
Next is a layer of Silver Foil which I embossed with the Falling Snow embossing folder.
Then a 4 1/8″ x 2 7/8″ layer of Whisper White cardstock that is mounted on a 4 1/4″ x 3″ piece of Night of Navy cardstock.
For the card image: I stamped the trees from the Winter woods Stamp set with Gray Granite ink. I then sponged the background lightly with Night of Navy ink. Last I sprayed the stamped image with Frost Shimmer spray mixed with rubbing alcohol to give the card a little shimmer. The trees are cut using the framelits that coordinate with the Winter Woods stamp set from Silver Foil. The “thanks” is cut from Night of Navy Cardstock using the Well Written framelits from the new Occasions catalog.
Lastly I added a piece of whisper white cardstock to the inside of the card. The right side of the card is stamped with the same trees from the Winter Woods stamp set. The sentiment “All my Thanks” is from the Well Said stamp set.
