Today I wanted to share some ideas that I put together with the Petal Pallet Memories & More Kit.
Did you know that you can use Memories & More Kits to make cards? One of my favorite stamp sets retiring from the current catalog that is the Petal Pallet stamp set. Last year when this stamp set came out in the spring Occasions catalog, there was a Memories & More kit for scrapbooking that coordinated with the set.
Well I was cleaning out and found some leftover Memories & More cards and embellishments that I had leftover from a project last year. So I decided to convert them into Greeting cards. I absolutely love these cards! The Memories & More kits can be used to make beautiful cards which are quick and easy to put together!
This card was made using a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock cut in half and scored at 4 1/4″. I then embossed the card base with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder. The next Layer is one of the small 3″ x 4″ Memories & More cards with the saying “the best of everything”. I used one of the other small cards with a printed flower design. I fussy cut around the flower design and added it to this layer on the card. This is layered on a piece of Basic Black cardstock cut to 3 1/8″ x 4 1/8″. Next I added a few of the adhesive backed sequins for a little bling!
Next is a beautiful black polka dot 6″ x 4″ Memories and more card cut to 5″ x 3 3/4″. This piece is layered onto a 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″ piece of Basic Black cardstock. The card base for this card is Powder Pink cardstock. I stamped the bird from the Petal Pallet stamp set with Momento ink and cut it out with the framelit. I added a touch of Powder Pink ink to the bird’s belly. The sentiment “from the heart” is stamped with Black ink on one of the stickers from the kit and placed on the center of the card. Last I added a piece of the Black Shimmer ribbon around the bottom of the card layer.
I love how beautiful these cards are!! and they are so Quick and Easy to put together! So don’t throw out those leftover Memories & More cards when you are finished putting your scrapbook project together! Make a couple of cards with them!
