It is that time of year and I am sorry to see the Daisy Lane and Honey Bee stamp sets being retired! I also am sorry to see the Noble Peacock Designer paper and Nobel Peacock Foil sheets retiring. I love the combination of the Foil sheets that coordinate with the Designer paper. I know there are more beautiful Designer papers coming out in the new Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog in June, but it is sad to see pretty papers retire!
So the details of this card:
The Card Base is a 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock scored at 4 1/4″ and folded in half. Next is a 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ layer of So Saffron cardstock. Then a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Old Olive Foil that has been embossed with the Scrripty 3D Embossing Folder.
The center piece starts with a 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ piece of So Saffron cardstock and a 4 5/8″ x 3 3/8″ piece of Whisper White cardstock.
3 Flower stems are stamped on the Whisper white cardstock with Old olive ink. The Daisy petals are stamped with So Saffron ink on a piece of So Saffron cardstock. They are punched out with the Daisy Punch. Then cut the daisy leaves in half and layer together. to form the side view of the flower.
The center of the flower is stamped with Soft Suede ink on a scrap of whisper white cardstock. They are punched out with the 1/2″ circle punch. The flowers are attached to the card with dimensionals.
The bees are attached to the card with dimensionals also.
