Today I am sharing a Vellum Peaceful Poppies Card that I made using the vellum poppies from the Peaceful Poppies Elements!
I love this Vellum Peaceful Poppy Card! I purchased the elements as part of the Peaceful Poppies Suite when the stamp set came out and had not used them! So when one of my downline invited me to participate in a challenge, I decided to break out the elements!
Rather than stamping an image, I choose the vellum poppy flowers that are part of the kit. I colored the Poppies with the Poppy Parade Blends marker.
The card base is an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Poppy Parade cardstock scored at 4 1/4″. Next is a 5 1/4″ x 4″ layer of the Peaceful Poppies designer series paper. Next is a 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Vellum Cardstock. Then a sheet of Granny Apple Green cardstock cut to 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″. This layer is embossed with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder.
Next I added a black scalloped layer that was included in the Peaceful Poppy Elements package. Then I stamped “Happy Birthday” with Granny apple Green ink and cut this out with an oval die. I mounted this onto a scalloped oval cut from Poppy Parade cardstock.
Last but not least, I added a layer of the Granny Apple Green cardstock to the inside of the card. Then I used one of the Poppy stickers from the Elements package.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Vellum Peaceful Poppies card!
These are the supplies that I used for this card.
Happy Stamping!
