Today I am saying Goodbye Honey Bee to the Stampin’ up! Honey Bee stamp set. This Honey Bee Bundle is so adorable!

The Double Fold Gate card starts with a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock cut to 11″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 1 ½”, 3 ½”, 7 ½”, 9 ½” for the Card base. Fold each side in and back to make the card base.

Each side of the fold is layered with a 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Black cardstock. Next is a 1 1/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of the Golden Honey Designer Series paper from Sale-a-bration this year.
The Golden Honey Designer paper is perfect for this card as there are several sheets that coordinate very well together which lets you decorate each panel with a different pattern that all fit together!
Next I stamped 4 of the flowers in the set and cut them out with the coordinating die. The Flowers are colored with Daffodil Delight Blends markers.
Then I cut 2 pieces of a different patterned designer paper to 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″. These pieces are adhered to the next panel on the inside. Cut another 2 pieces of Designer paper the same size to place on the outside panel of the card – just below the fold when the card is folded back together. You can see a hint of the paper behind the front folds of the card!
Finally the middle of the card is decorated with a piece of Designer paper cut to 5 1/4″ x 3 3/4″. Now the fun! The Stamping of the elements of the ard. Stamp the Bee Hive with Crushed Curry Ink and a few more flowers and bees with the Tuxedo Black Momento ink. Cut these out with the coordinating dies. Color the flowers and the Bees with Daffodil delight Blends markers.

The last layer is a 4 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. I layered this onto a 4 3/8″ x 2 7/8″ piece of Black cardstock and attached it to the center of the card. I layered the cut flowers with the Bee Hive over the top. I then added Bees to the card using dimensionals to make them pop!
The Belly Band:
The last piece is the belly band which is a piece of Black cardstock cut to 11″ x 1 1/2″. Score the belly band at 2″ and 6 3/8″, wrap it around the card and attach it in the back. Then snip off the extra cardstock. Make sure the belly band is loose enough so you can slide it off the card. Next cut a piece of the white and black stripped designer paper to 1 1/4″ x 4″ and place it on the front of the belly band. I added a message highlighted with a Crushed Curry bow.
I hope that you have enjoyed my Honey Bee Card today. This is a stamp set that I really don’t want to say goodbye to!
Happy Stamping!
