Today I am sharing a Quick Forever Ferns Card for Fall. The Stampin’ Up! Forever Ferns stamp set is one of my favorites from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog! It dawned on me the other day, that it would be easy to color the leaves and sprigs for fall! Sometimes you look at a stamp set in just one way; always with the Forever Greenery designer paper with shades of green ink.
Here are the details on this card:
The card base is a piece of Very vanilla cardstock cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. The next layer is a piece of Very Vanilla cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″. The third layer is a 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Cajun Craze cardstock.
Emboss the Cajun craze and Very vanilla layers with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing folders. Attach the Very vanilla layer to the card base and attach the Cajun Craze layer in the middle of the card.
Stamp the leaves and berries from the Forever Ferns stamp set with the following ink colors: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler inks. Cut out with the corresponding dies.
Use the larger die from the Stitched Labels dies to cut a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock. Use the next smaller die to cut a piece of the Plaid Tidings Designer paper. Use the 2nd smallest die to cut a label for the card sentiment from a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock.
Attach the Plaid Tidings piece to the Crushed Curry cardstock. Use glue dots to attach the stems, sprigs and berries in a bouquet format in the center of the card. Stamp a sentiment on the small Very Vanilla piece. Attach over the bottom of the stems.
Add gems from the Holiday Rhinestone Jewels package.
