I absolutely LOVE this 3D Shadow Box!! And now I have made an online class so you can make one too! And the best part? These Shadow boxes can be made for any occasion. I envision a pretty one for Valentine’s Day!
As you can see from the side view of the Shadow Box, it is about 1″ thick. So when you open up the box, you get a nice surprise! Due to the thickness of the box, you build up a cascade of poinsettias from the Poinsettia Place Suite of products from the Holiday Mini catalog.
As you can see from the inside of the box, I made a lot of different combinations of Poinsettias using the Poinsettia Petals Bundle. I had fun playing with the different types of poinsettias that are in the Poinsettia Petal stamp set and dies. There is so much that can be done with this set!
The Ferns in the back of the poinsettias are from the Forever Ferns Dies. Also on the front cover, I have used one of the Gold Laser Cut Specialty Elements which coordinate beautifully with the Poinsettias!
The inside of the box edge is lined with a piece of Gold foil that I have embossed with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder. This tutorial is just $20 for a PDF with all of the supplies and cutting instructions and a Video that takes you through making this box step-by-step!
