Fun fold Timeless Tulip Card

Today I am sharing a Fun Fold Timeless Tulip Card that is actually pretty easy to make! This is one of the cards that I made with my Stamp Club last month to use for Easter!

Directions for this card

The Card base for this card is 2 layers of CS. First is a piece of Rococo Rose Cardstock cut to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. Next is a piece of So Saffron Cardstock cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″.

Now for the Fun Folds; this card has 2! Cut two 3 1/2″ squares of Designer paper to make the card flaps. Fold these pieces in half across the diagonal. Next cut a piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock to 3 3/4″ x 10″. Score this piece at 5″.

Attach 1/2 of each diagonal piece to the back of this card base. The flaps will fold over the top of the card.

Center the back of this card and attach it to your card base. The flaps will fold over the card base.

Now cut a large fun shaped Label die from a piece of Whisper White. Decorate as desired!

As you can see I used a Blending Brush and added some blue shading to the Label. Then I stamped the Tulip Stems with Pear Pizazz ink.

Attach this to the left half of the diagonal piece of Designer paper.

Now the fun part! The Decorating! For the front of the card I stamped a couple of Tulips with Rococo Rose ink and So Saffron ink and a few leaves with the Pear Pizazz ink.

I used the Tulip Builder punch to punch out the tulips and leaves.

The flowers are attached to the card with dimensionals to make the flowers pop!

Then I tied a small gingham bow to the bottom of the Tulip bouquet! That’s it for the outside of the card.

Decorating the Card Layers

When you fold up the first layers of the designer paper and label, you have the flaps to decorate if you would like. I used the cute Bunny from the Easter set. He is stamped with Tuxedo Black Momento ink and colored with Blends markers. I used a circle to cut him out and attach him to the inside of the designer paper layer.

Next I stamped another set of Tulip Stems on the top of the card layer inside the first fold. And then added a couple of Tulip flowers to the top of the 2nd layer!

For the final inside layer I used the Word Wishes dies to cut out the “Happy Easter” from a scrap of Rococo Rose CS. The key to cutting word using dies is to add a piece of double sided adhesive sheet to the piece of card stock before you cut the words!

Then they are easy to add to your card!

I hope you have enjoyed my Fun Fold Timeless Tulips card!
