Today I am sharing with you are a beautiful Handmade Gift Box of Cards that I designed for a Mother’s Day gift! But it can be used anytime that you want to send a friend a little gift box of cards! …. and the best part is that I have provided a FREE tutorial for this project!
This project uses the new Hand Penned Designer paper from Stampin’ Up! with the Forever Blossoms Stamp set and coordinating Cherry Blossom Dies.
I love the beautiful Hand Penned Designer paper with the soft floral patterns. And the flowers in the Forever Blossoms Stamp set coordinates nicely with the beautiful pastel designs in this gorgeous Designer paper.
One of the things that I love about Stampin’ Up! is the coordination of the Designer paper with Stampin’ Up!’s 50 exclusive colors. It is so easy to choose cardstock when you know the colors in the Designer papers match the colors of Cardstock and Inks!
Project Details
For this project I cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of each of the 6 Designs in the Hand Penned paper. These were used to make 5 cards using a similar layout. The 6th card design is the card front that is on the front of the box.
The Flowers on these cards are made with the Forever Blossoms Stamp set which coordinates with the Cherry Blossom Dies. These are gorgeous flowers compliment the Hand Penned Designer paper nicely!
The Cherry Blossom die set has a pretty stem of Cherry Blossom flowers and also a few dies for floral cutouts that have a nice embossed 3D look to them. You can see the floral cutouts above on the Mint Macaron card.
