Today’s card is a handmade Masculine Card made with an image from the FREE Stampin’ Up! PDF download from the new United Through Connectivity Campaign. What a perfect card for a male friend or for Father’s Day!!
First the Details of the Card
The card base is a piece of Basic Gray cardstock cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. Next is a piece of Basic White cardstock cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″. The third layer is a piece of Well Suited Designer Series paper from Stampin’ Up!. I love the colors of this plaid! This plaid would make a great man’s shirt!
This Basic White piece of Cardstock with the printed images measures 3 1/4″ x 2 7/8″. This is on a mat of Pacific Point Cardstock cut to 3 3/8″ x 3″.
The people images are colored with Stampin’ Up’s Blend Markers. Fresh Freesia and Daffodil Delight Blends are used to color the lady. The man’s shirt is colored with Balmy Blue blends, trimmed with Misty Moonlight blends and Crumb Cake Blends for the slacks. The man’s hair is colored with Smokey Slate.
Next is the message “We Belong” Together” from the United in Creativity printout. This is matted on a piece of the Well Suited Designer paper.
The inside of the card is a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock. I used a 1 1/4″ stripe of the plaid paper from the Well Suited Designer paper down the side of the card to bring the card together. The message is from the Handsomely Suited Stamp set.
