Christmas Card with Eden’s Garden

Today I am sharing a Slimline Christmas Card with Eden’s Garden Bundle currently available from Stampin’ Up! I wanted to show how the beautiful Eden’s Garden set is versatile and can be used for any season!

Christmas Card with Eden's Garden

This bundle includes the Eden’s Garden Stamp set and dies along with the beautiful Ever Eden Designer paper and coordinating Cotton paper. The Ever Eden Designer paper is made up of shades of green with Gold Embossed images throughout the paper. These papers are beautiful and only available until the end of December. The Eden’s Garden Stamp set and dies will be in the new upcoming Jan. to June Catalog (Spring Catalog).

Card Directions

For this card, I started with a 8 1/2″ x 7″ piece of So Succulent Cardstock and scored it in half at 3 1/2″ on the long side to form the card base. The second layer is a 3 1/4″ x 8 1/4″ piece of Evening Evergreen CS attached to the card base. Then a piece of the Ombre Design of the Ever Eden Designer paper cut to 3″ x 8″. Attach this to the card base.

I used the beautiful detailed edge die to cut a 1″ x 3 1/4″ piece of Evening Evergreen CS. I then cut a 3/4″ x 3 1/4″ piece of the designer paper with the white background and leafy pattern. The detailed Edge is added to the left edge of the Card Front. The 3/4″ piece of Designer paper is added over the edge of this piece. This makes up the card front!

Next I used the large rectangle frame die in the Eden’s Garden dies and cut out frames from Evening Evergreen CS, and with 2 different patterns of the Designer paper. Also cut a small rectangle from a scrap of Real Red CS. I cut the frames into pieces to make “branches” and layered these pieces on the front of the card. Glue dots were used to attach these branches. Then I cut some of the leaves out of scraps of Gold Foil.

Cut a label from a scrap of Basic White CS with one of the tasteful Label dies. Stamp your desired image on the front and place over the ends of the branches.

Inside of the Card

Christmas Card with Eden's Garden

Cut a piece of Basic White CS to 3 1/4″ x 8 1/4″. Attach to the inside of the card. The message stamped is from the Christmas to Remember Stamp set. Use Soft Succulent Ink to randomly stamp twig images around the top of the inside of the card. I also added a couple of the “branches” that I cut on the inside of the card also.

I love this stamp set and the designer papers. These are the items that I used to make this card. If you place an order with me, I will send you a free copy of my Eden’s Garden Tutorial.
