First I want to say Merry Christmas and a huge Thank you for following my projects and supporting my Stampin’ Up! business!
Today I am sharing a Peaceful Cabin Diorama Card that I made for this Christmas Season!
The Peaceful Place Designer Series paper is beautiful. Each sheet is embossed with Silver which really makes the snowflakes and trees on the cards stand out!
I used the Peaceful Cabin Bundle to stamp the trees and cabin that give this card dimension. The cabin and fences are stamped with Basic Gray ink and the trees are stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink. These items are cut out using the coordinating dies that are part of the Peaceful Cabin Bundle. The best thing about these dies is that they add texture to the trees at the same time that you cut them out!
The smaller trees are cut from scraps of Evening Evergreen CS. I used a Chalk marker to add the effect of snow to the trees.
I really love the way the Peaceful Place Designer paper makes a perfect backdrop for this project.
Lastly I decorated the card with some beautiful stars. The stars are cut from the Silver Foil pack which has Silver Foil but also a couple of shades of silver foil infused with purple. Perfect shades for a night sky!
As a thank you for a great Year, I have put together a Tutorial to make these Diorama Cards. You can download the PDF for this Tutorial HERE.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
