This particular card uses the Birthday Piggy Stamp set with the Playful Piggy Dies. I wanted a very colorful and fun Designer paper to pair with this stamp set so chose the Butterfly Kisses Designer paper.
Making a Bridge Card
The card base is a piece of Basic White Cardstock cut to 4 1/2″ x 8″. Score at 1 1/4″, 2 1/2″, 5 1/2″ & 6 3/4″. Fold the first score back and the 2nd line forward. Repeat on the second side. the card base will look like a Gate Fold that doesn’t meet in the middle.
Cut 4 pieces of Fresh Freesia CS to 1 1/8″ x 4 3/8″. Cut 4 pieces of Designer paper to 1″ x 4 1/4″. Attach the designer papers to the Fresh Freesia mats. Attach these to the four narrow sections of the card.
Cut a piece of Fresh Freesia CS to 4 3/8″ x 2 7/8″. Cut a piece of Basic White CS to 4 1/4″ x 2 3/4″. Use Balmy Blue ink and a Blender Brush to add a sky effect to the piece of Basic White CS. Attach to the Fresh Freesia layer. Attach to the center of the card. Decorate the center piece of the card with cute little pigs and Birthday elements!
Cut a piece of Basic White CS to 1 1/4″ x 5 3/8″. Cut a piece of Designer paper to 1 1/8″ x 5 1/4″. Attach to the white piece to make the band for the front of the card. Attach the left side of the band to the bottom left side of the front panel. Fold the card in a half square. Attach the right side of the band to the right front panel of the card.
Have fun decorating! I stamped the Image with Tuxedo Black Momento ink and used Stampin’ Blends markers to color the images!
