Today I am sharing a couple of Fun Friendly Gnome Cards. I love these sweet characters. This has become one of my favorite new stamp sets as it is so perfect for sending a cheerful uplifting card and the best part – you can choose any designer paper for these cards! And the dies allow you to cut out a gnome from cardstock or stamp and color a cute gnome!
This second Fun Friendly Gnome card uses the Stampin’ Up! Country Floral and Country Gingham Designer papers. This second card uses the Flowers & More Designer paper that is in the back of the new Stampin’ Up! Jan – April Mini catalog!
Cutting Directions:
- Card Base – 5 1/2″ x 7 1/2 – Score at 4 1/4″ and fold to make card base. You will have a 1″ gap on the right side.
- First Layer – 3 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ for the mat with 3″ x 5 1/4″ piece of designer paper.
- Second Layer – 3 5/8″ x 2 5/8″ for the mat with a 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ piece of designer paper.
- Inside layer – 1″ x 5 3/8″ piece of designer paper – add to the right edge of the card.
- Use the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a large Basic White Circle and label for your stamped images.
Here is a cute Bookmark that I made using the Gnome Dies to assemble the Gnome rather than stamping and coloring the images. This particular Gnome has wiggly legs too!
Watch the Video Below for the details on this card layout and making the Bookmark with the Wiggly Leg Gnome!
These are the supplies that I used to make these cards:
