Have you ever wanted to add color to your embossed images? Using Color on Embossing folders is an easy way to add texture and color to your backgrounds at the same time. …and all you need is a Brayer!
The process is very easy. Select your ink color, embossing folder pattern and find your brayer!
Here are several examples of backgrounds that I made using a few different embossing folders and a brayer:
- Run the brayer over the ink by rolling completely around to evenly cover the brayer. If you roll back and forth – your ink will not be even.
- To brayer the background of the Embossing Folder, open the folder and brayer the side that has the SU label. This is the background side which is shown on the left side of each picture.
- To brayer the embossed image, open the folder and brayer the raised side of the embossing folder. The brayered image is shown on the right side of each picture.
