Today I am sharing 2 cards that I made with the Stampin’ Up! Full of Life Designer paper and the Zinnias from the Flowering Zinnia Designer paper. The colors in the Zinnnia Flowers coordinate beautifully with the Full of LIfe Designer paper!
Card Layout
- Each card starts with Basic White CS cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″ to make the card base.
- The second layer for the left card is a piece of the backside of a piece of Full of life designer paper with Fresh Freesia colors cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″. The card on the right is a piece of the Flowering Zinnia Designer paper (Berry Burst color) cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″.
- Next I chose a piece of the Full of LIfe designer paper with colored squares that coordinated with the Zinnia flowers. I cut a strip of the squares for each side of each card.
The Landscape card on the left is decorated with Zinnia’s that I fussy cut from the Designer paper. I grouped several flowers together for the look of a random bunch of flowers.
Then I stamped the Sentiment “words fail to express my Gratitude” with Highland Heather ink on a piece of Basic white CS. I then cut a banner using a deckled rectangle die. I layered this onto a piece of Highland Heather CS and added it to the bottom of the card.
Portrait Zinnia Card
For this card I used a 2 7/8″ x 3 1/2″ piece of the Flowering Zinnia Designer paper that has the Zinnia Garden along the bottom.
I fussy cut around the top of the Zinnias to highlight the edge of the garden.
This garden piece is attached to a Mat of Highland Heather CS cut to 3 1/8″ x 3 1/2″. This focal piece is attached to the front of the card with dimensionals.
Then add the sentiment “Thank you so much” on a small circle or oval.
Decorate each card with Adhesive backed Shiny Sequins from the Zinnia Suite.
Here is the list of supplies that I used to make these 2 cards.

I like both; but, the Gratitude card wins for me.
