A Fun Toadstool Card - Stamp with Marilyn

Today I am sharing a Cute Toadstool Card made with the new Terrific Toadstools set from Stampin’ Up! My friend Rose Kerry designed this card and I did make a couple of adjustments to it since she loves to fussy cut everything!…and I know that isn’t everyone’s desire!

This card is so cute and easy to make! You start with a card base and add a little folding arm to one side! This Designer paper is a Sale-a-bration item. So only available until the end of February!

Card Base

Cut a piece of Granny Apple Green CS to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/2″.
Cut a piece of Melon Mambo CS to 5 1/4″ x 4″
Cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie CS to 2 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ – score at 3/4″ on one side.

Fold the Pumpkin Pie CS at the score line. Line up the pumpkin pie CS with the Melon Mambo piece. Fold and glue the 3/4″ tab around the bottom left of the Melon Mambo CS. Attach to the Granny Apple Green CS!

Decorate your Card

Next select 3 designs of Toadstool Designer paper that you want to showcase on your card.

Cut a piece of Designer paper for the front arm to 2″ x 5 1/8″. Attach to the front arm.
Cut a 2nd design of the toadstool paper for the bottom of the card base to 2″ x 5″.
Cut a piece of the Toadstool paper for the top of the card base. Cut to 2″ x 5″

Attach these last 2 pieces to the card base.

Use Circle Dies to cut a 2 3/4″ circle from a piece of Basic White CS. Also cut a piece of White CS to 2″ x 5″ for the inside of the arm.

Stamp the grass stamp twice on the bottom of the White Circle with Granny Apple Green ink. Stamp once on the left side of the side piece.

Stamp the stem with 3 sprouts for the small mushrooms once on the side piece and once on the left side of the Circle.
Stamp the small grouping of 3 mushrooms with pumpkin pie ink on the 2 stems.
Stamp the large stem on the right side of the Circle. Stamp the medium mushroom with Melon Mambo ink and punch out with the punch. Attach to the circle with a dimensional.
Attach to the center of the card base.
Attach the white piece to the inside of the arm.

Add you Sentiment

Use the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a large banner from Granny Apple Green CS.
Use a 2″ circle to cut a piece of Designer paper
Use adhesive to attach the Circle to the center front of the arm. Attach the large banner over the middle of the circle.
Stamp your sentiment on a scrap of white CS. Punch out with a label and add to the front of the card.
