How can it be only 2 1/2 weeks from our next Creative Crafters’ Escape on Saturday June 16th??  Time just flies too fast!  So I wanted to share a couple of points with you for the day.

My team and I have been very busy planning for another fantastic and Fun day!!  We do need to close registration 5 days before the event so we have time to order all the supplies.  So registration is closing on Sunday the 10th.  Registration is $80 but only until May 31st  which is tomorrow!  After this, registration goes up to $85!

Review of You Move Me Stamp set

Today I am sharing a card that I received last fall for my Birthday from one of my great Stampin’ Friends, Kathie Durgan on the You move me butterflywest coast.  I would like to share some of my favorites from sets that are retiring over the next couple of weeks. 

This post is a couple of samples made with the You Move Me Stamp set.

Here are the details for this Beautiful Birthday card:

the Card base is Basic Black cardstock cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″.  The second layer is a piece of Gold Foil cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″.  The third layer is a piece of Whisper white cardstock cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″.   The pattern on the bottom of the white cardstock is made using the Black Washi Tape.  I love the way you can use a little tape to look like Designer paper!

The butterfly is cut from a piece of Gold Foil with an overlay cut from Basic Black cardstock.


I love the images in the You Move Me stamp set.  The bird, butterfly and flower are 3 part stamps that allow you stamp a detailed and colorful image using multiple colors of ink for the image.   The corresponding dies allow you to create an interactive image that appears to flutter using the “grill” piece on the front of a card.  A great card that moves.

Here is an example of the You Move Me stamp set and dies used to create an interactive card.  This card was designed by one of my downlines, Debby Donovan for a class that she was teaching at one of our Creative Crafters’ Escape Stamping Retreats.

I am so excited to announce the plans for our next FULL Day Crafting Retreat on Saturday October 14th!!  We have so many great things planned for the day!! 

Stamp, Scrap, Quilt – All Crafters’ are Welcome!

Event Details:
Saturday October 14th
9am to 9pm
at the Tewksbury Congregational Church
10 East Street, Tewksbury, MA

Attendees can plan on:
  • 6″ of table space available for you to work on for the day – bring your latest crafting project
  • Access to Big Shots with lots of embossing folders and dies
  • A goodie bag of items from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog including a sampler of Autumn Harvest DSP and the “At Home with You” stamp set from the new 2017-2018 catalog

Classes for Summer Getaway Day

I am so excited!  The members of Stamping New England have been doing a lot of work in preparation for our Summer Getaway on June 17th!

So here are the details on our first event:

Summer Getaway 2017
Saturday June 17th – 9am to 8pm
at the
Tewksbury Congregational Church
10 East St.  Tewksbury, MA


This is a day of Crafting Fun for all types of Crafters!  Stampers, Scrapbookers and Quilters are welcome!
Attendees:
1.  Each Attendee will have 6′ of table space to spread out and work for the day!  So bring your latest crafting project!
2.  You will have access to our Big Shot machines with lots of Embossing Folders and dies for cutting
3.  You will receive a Goodie Bag full of items from the new Delightful Daisy Suite of products from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Catalog.
4.  Lots of inspirational display boards
5.  Lunch and Dinner will be provided


We are also offering a couple of additional classes.


Delightful Daisy – Class 1 – taught by Jeannie Nielsen
  •  Includes the Daisy punch ($18)
  • 4 card designs (you will make 2 of each) for a total of 8 cards

Creative Crafter’s Escape for June

Welcome to the kickoff of the Creative Crafter’s Escape! This is a very exciting day today for my Stamping Friend Jeannie Nielsen and me!


Jeannie and I are starting a new group to plan and hold 2-3 Creative Crafting Days each year.  Our first event is scheduled for Saturday June 17th at the Tewksbury Congregational Church in Tewksbury, MA.  We have rented out the a large room in the basement of the church and have planned out a fantastic day of fun for all of our Crafting Friends!  We are starting off with this one day event and would like to schedule a  2-3 day event in September.  We are currently scoping out venues to hold our first 2-3 day event in the September timeframe!

So here are the details on our first event:

Summer Getaway 2017
Saturday June 17th – 9am to 8pm
