My favorite Holiday Stamp set

Stampin' Up! Winter WoodsToday I am sharing a card made with the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods stamp set; my new favorite stamp set from the Holiday catalog.   I love the variety of this stamp set and coordinating thinlits that let you make a 3D tree.  I also love the variety of the trees that are available with this set.  The birch trees are absolutely beautiful and the line of trees give you a lot of options for fall and winter cards.

One of my favorite color combinations for any card is all white or vanilla with a pop of color.   For this card, I stamped the tree with versamark ink and used Iredescent Ice Embossing powder to add a little glitz to the tree.  It is hard to see in the picture but the tree has a nice shimmer to it from the embossing powder. NOTE: is retired but you could also use a little of the white shimmer paste to add a “snow” look to the branches of the tree.

What I love about the thinlits that go with this set is the dimension that you can get by layering two trees together.  After cutting the second tree, bend the branches out and use mini dimensionals to put the two trees together.

The card base is Whisper white cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2“, scored at 4 1/4”.  Next is a piece of Real Red cardstock cut to 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8“.  Next a piece of Gray Granite that is cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″.  Last is a piece of whisper white cardstock cut to 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″.

The birch trees are stamped across the background of the white card stock with Sahara sand ink.  I added a piece of Sparkle Glimmer paper cut with the sloping thinlit that is part of the this set to represent snow.  Then I added the tree to the card with dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set with Real Red ink on the upper right of the card.

And last but not least I added some of the Red Rhinestones to the tree and on the sentiment.

Which stamp set is your favorite for this Holiday Season??

Thanks for stopping by today!

Thank you to my loyal Customers!

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to my Customers and Stampin’ Up! Team!  We had the best time at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event in Hartford last Friday and Saturday.

This picture is my downline Jeanne and me at the 80’s party on Friday night.  Stampin’ Up! is also celebrating 30 years in business!  I can’t believe how far the company has come over 30 years!

Here is a picture of me with two other members of my team.  This is my team member Margaret and Ruth.  Margaret is one of the best designers on my team.  You have seen a lot of her work in my posts and online classes over the past few years!  Ruth is a new member of my team – so this was her first event as a Demonstrator.

And I also have to say thank you to my Customers and Team as I celebrated a milestone as well.  In February, I reached $200,000 in career Sales!  I could not have accomplished this without my loyal Customers and fantastic team.  There were 4 Demonstrators in Hartford that achieved the $200K milestone.

So after 17 years – I have to say that joining Stampin’ Up! was the best decision that I made.  I have made such great friends in the Demonstrator community and with my Customers as well!

Have you ever thought about becoming a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator?  The next Stampin’ Up! event is in Orlando in early November!  Who wouldn’t want to go to Orlando in November?

You can check out more information on joining my team HERE.

Also feel free to give me a call or drop me a message!  If you join now – you will be able to pre-order from the upcoming Annual Catalog that will go live in June!

My Pre-order from the new catalog comes tonight.  So stay tuned, I will be posting samples of projects made with the new goodies over the next few weeks.

Happy Stamping!
