  14. Beautiful card! I love how you layered your hexagon greeting! Thanks for joining us for the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge!

  15. There is a large piece of designer paper used on the background to create a great look. The LABELS COLLECTION FRAMELITS (p. 191) are used to cut out the two shapes. The top layer has all of that great water coloring on it. You can color with the blender pens/watercolor pencils or try the aquapainter with the ink pads. The bottom layer is also run through the BIG SHOT with the SQUARE LATTICE EMBOSSING FOLDER to add texture.

  16. So exciting!!! They are stunning, Marilyn! πŸ™‚

  17. Love this card, marilyn! I will need to CASE it!

  18. Two Cool! I flipped over all of my paper strips for the second card to change up the look.

  19. Tonight I have a card for you that I had a lot of fun making. Anytime I get to use my Big Shot is fun for me and this has several Big Shot elements. I used a sketch from MoJo Monday and the colors from Color Throwdown.

  20. On this project I used clear embossing ink and heat embossed all small stamped snowflakes over SNOW letters with 3-4 powder’s colours. Then the whole piece was covered with Clear Gloss embossing powder for this shiny glossy look. The small chipboard snowflakes were heat embossed over white pigmented inks and the outer triangles were also covered with Silver Sparkle embossing glitter.

  21. I vote or the faux stitching. I had to scroll back and forth to see if that was the ONLY difference. The first version with inked edges are nice & soft, but after seeing the option of faux stitching it looks sort of incomplete. I have yet to use my piercing pack, thanks for the ideas!

  22. I absolutely love this invitation. Both my kids are graduating this year (one from high school and the other from college). I’m very new to the stampin’ up world and MDS and was wondering if the 2013 can be changed to 2014? Can the downloads be used in other programs as well such as Photoshop Elements? TIA!!

  23. Well how cute is that! I love the papers and stamp and how well they all go together. Super fun card! Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!

  46. Hi Marilyn,

I like your embossed card better, but I think it is a little busy. I don’t think that you need the pearl embellishments on the scalloped window. I like the 3 small pearls on the bottom right. It complements the composition of the card nicely.

My friend Gail Plante has been trying to register for june 8th and is not having any luck. I go through rhe link on your registration and ut wont go through to pay pal.
Please help she realy would like to go.

    • Hi Kathleen. I am not sure what is going on with the page and why she can’t register. My partner in crime is at a crafting night and is talking to Gail so hopefully she can get her registered. We can definitely take her information too and get her in.

I just tried logging in and had no problem. If she tries again and can’t get in it might be her browser. Firefox sometimes doesn’t work with certain applications.

      Thanks for letting me know!
